Dates and Timelines

it takes 1-2 months to harvest potatoes and cut potato so there are 2-3 eyes on each piece and allow cut to heal overnight.

Potatoes should be rotated on a 3-year program. which means that you will need to have three places to plant potatoes.

Potatoes need full sun.

Water

Potatoes like well-drained soil, ideally sandy. As long as it's not heavy and wet, you are fine. Excessive rain leads to tuber rot. Sandy soil dries out and warms up early in the spring, so that you can plant earlier
